Infant Brain Injury

Project 2:    Infant Brain Injury
In our efforts to support marriages and families, Hope Encounters International Inc has chosen to support families of children with Infant Brain Injury who benefit from a therapy called The Anat Baniel Method(ABM). These children travel to the ABM Centre in San Rafael, California for 1-2 weeks at a time for treatment, and up to 4 or 5 times a year depending on the child’s needs and ability of the family to go. Thus these families can apply for funding to HEII to assist in the costs of this treatment. In 2014, HEII received donations from Boston Pizza (Saskatoon Willowgrove) and  Sask Tel Pioneers and was able to help two families travel to the Centre in California.  In 2015 and 2016 HEII was able to assist three families.  These children benefit greatly from this opportunity.

It is our hope to raise sufficient funds to offer this opportunity to other families as well. HEII has the opportunity this fall to partner with three of the Boston Pizza stores in Saskatoon to fundraise in an effort to further provide support for these children to attend the ABM Centre.
